Winter 2026 New Graduate Registered Nurse Union Progressive Care

Join Atrium Health Union as a Registered Nurse in our 11-bed Progressive Care unit, an acute care setting serving Union County and neighboring areas. In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care to acutely ill patients with complex medical needs, practicing at the highest levels of your nursing licensure.

Clinical Setting

Atrium Health Union is a 182-bed hospital in Monroe, NC, offering comprehensive emergency services and specialty medical care. The campus includes a day surgery center, cancer treatment center, long-term care facility, behavioral health center, specialty care clinics, community wellness programs, a women and children's center, an interventional heart program, and physician practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making in patient care
• Use skilled communication to lead efforts in creating the safest patient environment
• Contribute to the best patient experience across the continuum of care

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
• Active Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Schedule

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Holiday rotation required
• Weekend rotation required
