Weekend SOC Registered Nurse, Home Health Visits

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a Weekend Start of Care Registered Nurse to conduct home health visits in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. This is a full-time or part-time position offering flexible schedules, one-on-one patient care, and work-life balance.

Clinical Setting

You will make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories, providing direct nursing care in patients' homes. This role focuses on start-of-care visits and requires experience with Medicare OASIS documentation.

Responsibilities

• Follow designated care plans in accordance with patient needs
• Make home visits to clients in assigned geographic territories
• Administer medications, perform wound care, and execute treatments and procedures as assigned
• Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document physicians' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Provide case management and care coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using electronic tablet documentation systems

Required Qualifications

• Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program (school transcript or diploma required)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned
• Home health experience and Medicare OASIS experience required

Weekend start-of-care position with flexible scheduling options.

Compensation

Base pay ranges from $55.00 to $62.00 per point, depending on qualifications.
