Weekend Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nurse (RN)

Midtown, a newly refreshed long-term care center in Memphis, is seeking dedicated Day Shift Weekend LPNs and RNs to join the nursing team. In this part-time role, you will provide skilled care to residents, administer medications and treatments, supervise CNAs, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure each resident's needs are met. Your clinical skills, leadership, and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.

Schedule

• Part-time, 7:00am-3:00pm
• Saturday and Sunday

Responsibilities

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Prepare and administer medications orally, subcutaneously, and through IV; record administration and report adverse reactions in accordance with facility policy
• Record patient medical information and vital signs
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients; interpret and record electronic displays
• Initiate corrective action when patients display adverse symptoms
• Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examination and treatment
• Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol
• Participate in discharge planning
• Utilize time management skills
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner using appropriate formats and forms
• Perform other position-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Tennessee

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of LPN or RN experience in a long-term care setting
