Weekend Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

NHC HealthCare Oakwood is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for weekend 12-hour shifts. This is an opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate care to geriatric patients in a supportive, family-oriented environment. Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions are available, and new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor patients and communicate changes in condition to appropriate members of the care team
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Prioritize patient care needs and help coordinate an efficient workflow
• Follow current standards of nursing practice and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
• Use sound judgment and problem-solving skills to support quality patient care
• Communicate compassionately with patients, families, and fellow team members
• Help create a positive, supportive environment for patients and team members

Required Qualifications

• Current Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Compassion for serving the geriatric population
• Positive attitude and team-focused approach

Schedule

• Weekend shifts
• 12-hour shifts
