Weekend Home Health Nurse (RN or LPN) – Part-

Arca Health is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for weekend skilled nursing visits in patients' homes throughout Worcester, MA and surrounding communities. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, ideal for nurses seeking supplemental income or additional clinical experience in home health.

Clinical Setting

You will provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes, working independently while maintaining effective communication with the clinical team. This role focuses on direct patient care and building meaningful relationships with patients and families in their own environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled nursing visits in patients' homes during scheduled weekend times
• Provide wound care, dressing changes, and wound assessments within your scope of practice
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Assist with diabetes management, including blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration, and patient education
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate significant changes to the appropriate clinical team members
• Assess patient needs and implement established plans of care within your professional scope
• Educate patients and caregivers on medications, chronic disease management, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members
• Promote patient safety, dignity, comfort, and independence

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN or LPN license in good standing
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills appropriate to your license
• Experience with medication administration, wound care, and chronic disease management
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with the clinical team
• Strong documentation and time-management skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to patients' homes

Preferred Qualifications

• Home health or community nursing experience
