Weekend Home Health Nurse RN | Flexible PRN | North Houston

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled nursing care to pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes. This is a flexible PRN weekend position serving the North Houston area, including Spring, Houston, Aldine, Humble, Conroe, Cypress, Tomball, Bryan, New Caney, Livingston, Cleveland, and surrounding communities.

As a private duty nurse, you will deliver individualized one-on-one patient care in patients' homes while maintaining flexible scheduling and consistent hours. You will work with an experienced clinical team and earn additional compensation through weekend and night shift differentials.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Provide skilled nursing care and services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare team members
• Document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses

Required Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an RN in Texas
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray
• Current BLS certification card

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of prior professional nursing experience

Compensation and Schedule

• Hourly pay: $40-$42 per hour
• Weekend and night shift differentials available
