Weekend Admissions Registered Nurse, RN, Home Health Visits

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Full Time Weekend Admissions Registered Nurse to provide home health visits to adult and geriatric clients throughout the Northeast Ohio area. This position requires home health experience and offers a weekend schedule of either Thursday through Sunday or Friday through Monday, working on a per visit basis.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Follow designated care plans in accordance with patient needs
• Perform assigned duties including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Execute and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Provide case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using electronic medical records on a touch pad tablet

Required Qualifications

• Current active Registered Nurse license in Ohio
• Minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience
• Home health experience required
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Solid computer skills
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior home care experience
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

Schedule

• Full Time
• Weekend schedule: Thursday through Sunday OR Friday through Monday

Compensation

• Base pay: $53.00 to $63.00 per point, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation
