Rochester Regional Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide urgent care services in the St. Lawrence Region of Northern New York. You will evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and non-emergent medical needs in a collaborative outpatient urgent care setting.
Clinical Setting
You will work in urgent care clinics located in Canton and/or Potsdam, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population of all ages. The practice uses Epic EMR and is part of a large, integrated health system with access to advanced technology, specialty support, and system-wide resources.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an urgent care setting
- Work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and clinical support staff
- Exercise clinical autonomy while remaining connected to system resources and support
Schedule
Flexible scheduling with opportunities to meet a full-time 40-hour work week. Provider schedules include 8 AM to 8 PM and/or 9 AM to 7 PM shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (MS)
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Medium work physical capacity: ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and greater than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly; frequent walking, standing, or squatting required

- Experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or other relevant acute-care settings
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $150,000 to $200,000 per year for full-time positions

Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts. Certain positions may be eligible for variable compensation including productivity and value-based clinical incentives or bonus compensation.
