Allied Physicians Group is seeking a Pediatric Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Staten Island, New York. You will deliver high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced, collaborative urgent care environment, providing episodic and urgent care during extended hours when families need access to pediatric healthcare beyond traditional office hours.
Clinical Setting
You will work in a pediatric urgent care clinic located in Staten Island, New York 10311. The setting is team-focused and child-centered, with opportunities to expand access to pediatric healthcare and support innovative care delivery models, including telemedicine services.
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent and episodic care for pediatric patients from infancy through young adulthood
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries in a pediatric urgent care setting
- Perform procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal
- Deliver clear communication, education, and reassurance to patients and families
- Collaborate closely with other providers, nursing staff, and operational teams to ensure an exceptional patient experience
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation within athenaOne EMR
Schedule
- Weekdays: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Weekends: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State License as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board Certified
- Current DEA Registration
- PALS certification
- Experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Primary Care
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department experience
- athenaOne EMR experience
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation: $150,000 - $170,000 annually
