Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

CareNow Urgent Care is seeking board-certified nurse practitioners to join one of our clinics in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is an outpatient-only urgent care position with no hospital rounds or emergency department call responsibilities. You will provide direct patient care for acute illnesses and injuries across a broad age range, from pediatric to adult populations.

Clinical Setting

CareNow Urgent Care is an urgent care practice integrated into HCA Healthcare's comprehensive network of facilities. The role focuses on outpatient urgent and primary care in a physician-driven environment designed to support quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient treatment for acute illnesses and injuries in pediatric and adult populations
• Perform procedures including incision and drainage, suturing, and other acute care interventions
• Perform first reads on x-rays
• See patients ages three months and up

Required Qualifications

• Board certification as a nurse practitioner
• Nevada state medical licensure
• Nevada DEA registration
• Ability to perform first reads on x-rays
• Skills to perform patient treatment procedures for acute illnesses and injuries, including pediatric and adult care, incision and drainage, suturing, and related procedures
