Urgent Care Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner

Jefferson Health is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) to join JeffExpress Urgent Care at Schuylkill Medical Plaza in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. This is an opportunity to deliver high-quality, on-demand care in a fast-paced urgent care setting alongside a skilled, collaborative team supported by one of the region's largest academic health systems.

Clinical Setting

JeffExpress Urgent Care operates 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The practice currently has 3 APCs on staff. You will work in a high-volume urgent care environment managing a diverse range of patient presentations.

Responsibilities

• Practice autonomously at the top of your license in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
• Manage minor injuries and illnesses
• Perform on-site procedures and point-of-care testing
• Collaborate with a team of APCs, physicians, nurses, and support staff
• Utilize network-wide protocols and Epic electronic medical records
• Access direct specialty referrals across Jefferson Health
• Serve diverse patient populations in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas

Schedule

• Full-time position with a predictable, rotating schedule
• No overnight shifts
• Flexibility to work across multiple health centers if desired
• Option to experience varying pace settings across different urgent care locations

Required Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania state license as a Nurse Practitioner
• National NP Certification through AANP or ANCC
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, or a similar specialty

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of relevant clinical experience as a CRNP
