Unit Manager Nurse (Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse) Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm

Tarboro Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Unit Manager Nurse to plan, coordinate, provide, and manage nursing care, services, and health education for residents. You will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing in a long-term care setting.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care and services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other staff
• Coordinate nursing care of residents on the unit, ensuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents
• Notify the physician of changes in resident status and promptly implement and document new orders
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment and implement nursing interventions
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a resident's condition and prevent complications
• Contribute to resident assessment and care plan development

Required Qualifications

• Unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
