Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Tele

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Telemetry assignment at a Critical Access Hospital in Ganado, Arizona. This travel contract position offers a unique 7-on/7-off schedule with night shifts, providing an excellent work-life balance while delivering high-quality patient care to a diverse population.

Clinical Setting

You will work in a Critical Access Hospital providing care to Medical Telemetry patients. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1, and you will have the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical Telemetry patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately
• Interpret cardiac telemetry monitoring and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and patient safety standards

Schedule

• Night Shift
• 12-Hour Shifts
• 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
• 7 Days On / 7 Days Off Schedule
• Overtime may be available but is not guaranteed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous Medical Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification

Housing Options

The facility offers several housing accommodations for travelers:

On-Site Housing: Approximately $500 per month. Shared houses or apartments with 3–5 bedrooms featuring a private locked bedroom with shared kitchen, living areas, and laundry facilities. Housing availability is limited and may require placement on a waitlist. No pets permitted.

Navajoland Inn: Located approximately 25 minutes east of the facility. Extended-stay accommodations with complimentary continental breakfast, fitness center access, and on-site laundry facilities. Available while awaiting on-site housing openings.

Gallup, New Mexico Housing: Single-unit accommodations approximately $500 per month, located about one hour east of the facility in Gallup, NM.
