The opportunity

Job Description

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse to work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a healthcare facility in a Southern community. You will provide direct care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity clinical environment while enjoying a location known for scenic landscapes, outdoor activities, and access to nearby vibrant cities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Manage ventilated patients and vasoactive drips
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting
  • Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Active Alabama (AL) RN license or Multistate license (no prior NURSYS hits)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience
  • Must reside 50 or more miles from the facility
