This 13-week travel position offers an opportunity to support occupational health and employee wellness initiatives at Adventist Health in Roseville, California. As an Employee Health Registered Nurse, you will manage comprehensive employee health programs, coordinate medical surveillance and fitness-for-duty evaluations, and support workplace injury and illness management.
Schedule
- Full-time, day shift
- Monday through Friday
- 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)
- Onsite in Roseville, California
Responsibilities
- Manage employee health programs in alignment with Adventist Health policies and regulatory standards
- Coordinate annual medical surveillance and fitness-for-duty evaluations
- Review employee medical documentation and determine compliance with job-specific health requirements
- Provide initial assessment and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses
- Partner with providers, leaders, and workers' compensation teams to facilitate safe and timely return-to-work plans
- Manage communicable disease exposure investigations and follow-up activities
- Oversee immunization programs, tuberculosis screening, and substance testing
- Monitor injury and illness trends and present prevention strategies to leadership
- Support reasonable accommodations and employee work restrictions
- Maintain confidential employee health records with regulatory compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on workplace health and safety
- Provide education and guidance on occupational health best practices across the organization
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR certification (AHA or ARC approved)
- AHA-BLS, ARC-BLS, AHA-CPR, or ARC-CPR certification
- Ability to work onsite in Roseville, California
