This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment at a Level I Trauma Center in Tucson, Arizona, providing high-acuity emergency care in a fast-paced setting. You will work the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) for 36 hours per week, starting May 18, 2026. This role is ideal for experienced emergency nurses comfortable managing trauma cases and critically ill patients in a high-volume department.
Clinical Setting
You will work in a Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department with a high volume of patients presenting with a wide range of acute and critical conditions. The facility is a 500+ bed hospital with a robust trauma program.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department
- Perform triage and assessment of patients presenting with diverse acute conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Respond efficiently to trauma and emergency situations
- Manage overflow inpatient holds in the ED on a rotating basis
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
- Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Active Arizona RN license or compact license
