This is a 14-week travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in Home Health, based in South Portland, Maine. You will deliver skilled nursing care to clients in their residences, working with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care plans and support patients across stable and emergent situations.

Clinical Setting

  • Home health and home care in patients' homes
  • Work with stable and emergent patient populations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams

Responsibilities

  • Assess home health patients in stable and emergent situations; document findings and communicate with the care team
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the Plan of Care; maintain up-to-date patient records reflecting visits, problems, plans, actions, and goals
  • Obtain data on physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and cultural factors and incorporate these into the Plan of Care
  • Educate patients and families about care, medications, home safety, and self-care; tailor teaching to age, condition, culture, and learning readiness
  • Supervise and provide clinical direction to Home Health Aide/STNA/LVN to ensure quality and continuity of service
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities and act as a liaison to patients, families, team members, and other healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse license in Maine
  • OASIS experience
  • Home Health experience: 2 or more years; 1-2 years clinical RN care
  • Homecare Homebase software experience
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
  • ADN or Nursing Diploma program graduate

Preferred Qualifications

  • CHPN certification
  • BSN degree

Schedule

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Guaranteed 40 hours per week
  • Assignment start date: 09/21/2026
  • Contract duration: 14 weeks

Compensation and Benefits

  • Weekly pay: $2,438–$2,539 per week
  • Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
