Travel Nurse Practitioner - NYC/North Jersey

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Travel (Float) Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver flexible, high-quality primary care across multiple locations in North Jersey and Midtown Manhattan, with potential coverage at select sites throughout New York and New Jersey. This position is scheduled for 24 hours per week and offers the opportunity to collaborate with multiple teams across a varied schedule, making it ideal for clinicians seeking flexibility and diverse clinical experiences.

Clinical Setting

You will practice relationship-based medicine at the top of your license within Marathon Health's advanced primary care model. Marathon Health serves 2.5 million eligible patients through approximately 630 employer and union-sponsored clients, operating 680+ health centers across 41 states, with virtual primary care and mental health services available in all 50 states.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wholistic care including prevention, chronic disease management, and health education to patients
• Manage routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visits
• Work autonomously with access to clinical resources including UpToDate and RubiconMD
• Remain flexible and available to cover shifts for absent team members and position vacancies at short notice
• Travel to various locations within the state and region as needed
• Collaborate with different teams in diverse settings
• Ensure continuity of work processes and procedures across multiple locations
• Ensure consistency with follow-through and task transitioning when needed

Schedule and Travel Requirements

This is a travel/float role requiring flexibility to work at various locations when needed. You may work within the same state or across multiple states. Teammates are expected to adapt to various work settings as a fundamental component of this role. The position is scheduled for 24 hours per week.

Compensation

Pay range: $72.00 - $86.00 per hour. The actual offer may vary depending on geographic location and the candidate's years of experience and skill level.

Required Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license
• Current ANCC or AANP board certification
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
• Independent family practice experience including routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visits

Preferred Qualifications

• Independent practice provider status, where applicable per state regulation
• Federal DEA number
