TOSH Registered Nurse Preop/PACU/Recovery

This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide excellent patient care in a same-day surgery setting, working Monday through Friday with no weekends, nights, or holidays required. You will care for patients in the preoperative, intraoperative recovery (PACU), and postoperative phases, managing patient assessments, medical histories, vital signs, and electronic health records while collaborating with the surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Assess and care for patients in the PACU and postoperative recovery phases
• Record patient medical history, symptoms, and vital signs
• Update patient charts and electronic health records (EHR)
• Perform clinical tasks including blood tests and administering medications and injections
• Administer medications and implement doctor-recommended treatment plans
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and administrators
• Comply with federal, state, and local nursing regulations, standards, and policies
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills and excellent bedside manner

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN license
• Active applicable state licensure
• Minimum one year of clinical experience
• CPR certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of PACU, ICU, or emergency department experience
• Basic Life Support certification

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• No weekends, nights, or holidays required
