This position offers an opportunity to provide telemetry nursing care in a newly opened, small-format hospital setting. You will work as part of a collaborative team in a 16-bed facility that includes 8 emergency department beds and 8 inpatient beds, delivering specialized cardiac monitoring and patient care in a community-focused environment.
Clinical Setting
This role is based at the new Baylor Scott & White Hospital Alliance facility located at 2952 HWY 114, Fort Worth, TX 76177. The hospital is a fully accredited small-format facility designed to provide individualized care in a neighborhood setting.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific, and developmentally appropriate nursing care using advanced specialty clinical knowledge and skills
- Ensure patient and family comfort and safety
- Follow physician orders in the delivery of nursing care
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of all information and records
- Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures, and aseptic techniques
- Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies, COLA, and CLIA regulations
- Perform admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
- Assemble equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures; perform or assist with procedures and treatments as needed
- Deliver care in accordance with legal requirements, hospital and departmental policies, and established standards of nursing practice as defined by the Texas Board of Nursing
- Perform assigned quality assessment activities and documentation
- Attend required staff meetings and company-sponsored or mandated meetings
- Perform additional duties as assigned

- Day Shift: 7am-7pm
- Full-time position
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
- Current Texas RN license without sanctions
- 2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years combination experience in related healthcare positions
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Fluency in English, both written and oral communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- PALS certification (ENPC certification from ENA may be substituted)
