This position offers an opportunity to provide telemetry nursing care in a newly opened, small-format hospital setting. You will work as part of a collaborative team in a 16-bed facility that includes 8 emergency department beds and 8 inpatient beds, delivering specialized cardiac monitoring and patient care in a community-focused environment.

Clinical Setting

This role is based at the new Baylor Scott & White Hospital Alliance facility located at 2952 HWY 114, Fort Worth, TX 76177. The hospital is a fully accredited small-format facility designed to provide individualized care in a neighborhood setting.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific, and developmentally appropriate nursing care using advanced specialty clinical knowledge and skills
  • Ensure patient and family comfort and safety
  • Follow physician orders in the delivery of nursing care
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of all information and records
  • Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures, and aseptic techniques
  • Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies, COLA, and CLIA regulations
  • Perform admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
  • Assemble equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures; perform or assist with procedures and treatments as needed
  • Deliver care in accordance with legal requirements, hospital and departmental policies, and established standards of nursing practice as defined by the Texas Board of Nursing
  • Perform assigned quality assessment activities and documentation
  • Attend required staff meetings and company-sponsored or mandated meetings
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Schedule

  • Day Shift: 7am-7pm
  • Full-time position

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
  • Current Texas RN license without sanctions
  • 2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years combination experience in related healthcare positions
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Fluency in English, both written and oral communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • PALS certification (ENPC certification from ENA may be substituted)
