The opportunity

Job Description

Friends Academy seeks an experienced, caring, and dedicated on-call School Nurse to provide first aid care and medically prescribed support and services for students, faculty, and staff. This is an immediate, ongoing position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first aid care to students and staff
  • Deliver medically prescribed support and services
  • Assess students' health status and refer to urgent care or emergency services as necessary

Schedule

  • Monday through Thursday: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience as a licensed nurse
  • Current CPR certification (Adult/Child)
  • Current Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification
  • Ability to assess student health and make appropriate referrals to urgent care or emergency services

Compensation

  • $35 per hour
