The opportunity
Job Description
Endeavor Health is seeking a Sterile Core Technician for the Operating Room at our Evanston, IL location. This full-time position works Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with rotating weekend and holiday assignments (1-2 weekends every 6 weeks). You will support the operating room team by maintaining inventory, transporting patients, and participating in case turnover activities including equipment procurement and instrument processing as needed. You will assist with daily operating room setup under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- 1-2 weekends every 6 weeks
- Rotating holidays
- 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Work experience in an operating room environment
Compensation
- Hourly pay range: $19.89 - $28.84
- Pay rate determined by expertise and years of experience
