Staff Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) — Remote | Telehealth | Full-Time or Part-Time | Connecticut

Legion Health is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to provide evidence-based outpatient mental health care through telehealth. This fully remote position offers clinical autonomy with the stability and support of an established organization, combining the flexibility of private practice with the resources of a traditional healthcare employer.

You will practice at the top of your license, managing patients with conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. This role is designed for clinically excellent, patient-centered PMHNPs who want meaningful clinical autonomy without the burden of building and operating a private practice independently.

Clinical Setting

This is a fully remote telehealth position. You will see patients from your home using Legion's technology platform. The organization provides a community of clinical excellence, with access to experienced psychiatrists for consultations and peer case reviews. Legion's Clinical Advisory Board includes nationally recognized psychiatrists and telepsychiatry pioneers who shape clinical quality standards and evidence-based care protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care for psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, and bipolar disorder
• Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental health history, medical history, diagnostic evaluation, and risk analysis
• Create and execute individualized treatment plans that may combine medication management and brief psychotherapy
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care
• Use evidence-based clinical protocols and responsible prescribing practices
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical peers through consultations and case reviews
• Use technology and operational systems effectively to deliver reliable telehealth care

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted state-issued authority to practice as a PMHNP in at least one U.S. state or jurisdiction
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort providing care remotely and using electronic health record systems
• Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation: $150,000–$300,000 per year, depending on completed patient-care hours
