Staff Physician, Diagnostic Radiologist (Community Division) - Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging, McGovern Medical School

The Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Imaging at McGovern Medical School is seeking a trained Diagnostic Radiologist to join the growing radiology department across the Greater Houston area. In this role, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging interpretation and collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to support timely, accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other imaging modalities within your area of expertise
• Provide accurate, timely, and clinically relevant imaging reports
• Perform image-guided procedures as appropriate to your training and practice scope
• Provide consultation regarding appropriate imaging studies and diagnostic strategies
• Participate in shared call coverage according to departmental requirements
• Maintain current knowledge of advances in diagnostic imaging, technology, and evidence-based practice

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
• Fellowship training in Diagnostic Radiology
• Board certification or board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology
• Texas Medical License or Faculty Temporary License
• Strong diagnostic interpretation and clinical communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care
