Staff Physician, Breast Imaging Radiologist (Community Division) - Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging, McGovern Medical School

The Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Imaging at McGovern Medical School is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to join the radiology department across the Greater Houston area. This position focuses on providing comprehensive breast imaging services in a community-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Interpret a broad range of breast imaging examinations, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
• Perform image-guided breast procedures, including ultrasound-guided, stereotactic, and MRI-guided biopsies and localizations
• Participate in breast imaging consultations and communicate findings and recommendations with referring physicians and patients
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, including breast tumor board and other breast-related clinical conferences
• Collaborate with breast surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary breast care team

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
• Fellowship training in Diagnostic Radiology or Breast Radiology
• Board certification or board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology
• Texas Medical License or Faculty Temporary License
• Strong diagnostic interpretation and clinical communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care
