Teladoc Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients through virtual visits. In this fully remote role, you will conduct patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and monitor patient progress. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and maintain accurate electronic health records while staying current with telemedicine advancements and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Clinical Setting
- 100% remote position with the ability to practice from any of the 50 U.S. states
- Virtual primary care delivery using cutting-edge virtual tools
- No need to source your own patients; scheduling and support are provided
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient assessments, including medical history collection, physical examinations, and diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses and injuries
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients, providing education and counseling on health promotion and disease prevention
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies, to support diagnosis and treatment decisions
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies according to evidence-based guidelines while considering patient preferences and limitations
- Monitor patient progress, assess outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize care
- Provide patient education and support, including answering questions, addressing concerns, and promoting healthy lifestyle choices
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records for all patient encounters
- Stay current with advancements in healthcare technology, telemedicine practices, and relevant professional guidelines and standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in virtual primary care
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Active, unencumbered Board Certification by ANCC or AANP
- Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care or family practice
- No disciplinary actions within the last 5 years
- Nurse Practitioner licensure in at least 3 states at time of interview
- Willingness to be licensed in up to all 50 states
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification in the states where the virtual primary care practice is based
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications

Schedule
- Must be able to work some evenings up to 9 p.m. EST
- Must be able to work some Saturdays, typically half-day
- Ability to remain flexible in a dynamic environment
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $127,900
- Eligible for performance bonus
- 8 hours of PTO per semi-monthly pay period
