Seasonal Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

InterHealth Staffing, the staffing division of Tampa General Hospital, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a seasonal 13-week assignment in the Emergency Room at TGH Crystal River. This is a full-time, on-site position offering significantly higher base pay compared to permanent roles.

TGH Crystal River is a 128-bed Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital serving Citrus County and surrounding areas. The hospital provides comprehensive emergency services through its dedicated emergency department in Citrus Hills, along with specialized services including an orthopedic bone and joint center, cardiac catheterization lab, and surgical services with robotic-arm assisted, minimally invasive options. The facility is designated as an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, an Accredited Heart Failure Center, and a Joint Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of a registered nurse
• Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license
• BLS certification through ARC or AHA
• PALS certification through ARC or AHA
• ACLS certification through ARC or AHA
• NIHSS certification

Education

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's Degree preferred)

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Available seven days per week (Sunday through Saturday)

Compensation

• Minimum salary: $60.00 per hour
