The opportunity

Job Description

Calibrate is seeking a Seasonal Nurse Practitioner to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered obesity care through a telehealth platform. In this role, you will work with an interdisciplinary clinical team to provide comprehensive weight management treatment that combines medical care, personalized coaching, and lifestyle intervention. This is a remote position available from January 2027 through April 2027, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week and the option to work up to full-time hours.

Clinical Setting

You will work in a virtual care environment supporting Calibrate's app-based obesity treatment program. The program integrates clinical research, personalized coaching, and lifestyle intervention across four pillars of metabolic health: food, sleep, exercise, and emotional wellbeing. You will collaborate with nurse practitioners, nurses, physicians, and coaching staff to deliver a coordinated care model.

Responsibilities

  • Provide world-class clinical care and patient experience consistent with Calibrate's standards
  • Review patient intake information and conduct initial patient interactions
  • Discuss the scientific principles of obesity and prescribe appropriate weight loss therapy based on Calibrate clinical protocols
  • Utilize and support Calibrate's detailed clinical treatment paradigm designed for patients pursuing weight-loss goals
  • Follow state regulations for collaboration agreements with supervising physicians as required by your state of licensure

Schedule

  • Minimum 10 hours per week availability (up to 40 hours per week if interested in full-time)
  • Shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM EST
  • Seasonal employment from January 2027 through April 2027

Required Qualifications

  • Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or other relevant specialty)
  • Active, unrestricted license in one of the following states: AL, AR, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, MO, SC, or TN. You must be licensed in either FL or TN.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong virtual bedside manner

Compensation

  • 65 to 70 USD per hour
