The opportunity

Job Description

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse for Med Surg Tele services through the Central Staffing Office. This is a PRN position providing clinical staffing resources across Texas Health Resources hospitals in Region A, which includes Allen, Frisco, Plano, Dallas, Rockwall, Kaufman, and the Center for Diagnostics & Surgery in Plano. You will float throughout the Metroplex based on business needs, working in Medical-Surgical departments.

Schedule

  • PRN position with required availability of 36 hours per week
  • Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
  • No self-scheduling
  • This position is not eligible for Full Time or Part Time benefits

Compensation

  • $70.00 per hour

Required Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
  • 5 or more years of clinical nursing experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of Med Surg experience within the last 5 years
  • Current Texas RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing required upon hire
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required upon hire
  • National Institute of Health Stroke (NIHSS) certificate required within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • CLIAFE certification for foreign education equivalency (must comply with CLIA regulations)
