School RN Registered Nurse Brooklyn Bay Ridge Bensonhurst Dyker Heights

Provide nursing care and support to students in Brooklyn schools during the school day. As a School Nurse, you will administer medications, manage chronic health conditions, respond to health concerns and emergencies, and coordinate with school teams and families to promote student well-being.

Clinical Setting

You will work in assigned schools across Brooklyn neighborhoods including Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, and Dyker Heights.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing coverage during the school day in assigned schools
• Administer medication and basic clinical care as needed
• Support students with chronic health conditions
• Respond to school-based health concerns and emergencies
• Complete required documentation and maintain health records
• Coordinate with school teams and families to promote student well-being

Schedule

• Daytime hours aligned with the school calendar
• No nights, weekends, or holiday shifts
• Flexible assignment opportunities to suit your availability and preferences

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or community health

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate of $50 to $60 per hour
