School Registered Nurse (RN)

Distinction LLC, operator of the St. Louis Job Corps Center, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct healthcare services to students in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. Reporting to the Health and Wellness Manager, you will deliver compassionate nursing care, promote healthy lifestyles, and support student success and overall well-being on campus.

Clinical Setting

You will work in a Health & Wellness Center serving young adults enrolled in the Job Corps program. The environment is supportive and campus-based, with opportunities to build lasting relationships with students and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to students in a supportive campus environment
• Administer medications and monitor student health
• Assess medical needs and treat minor illnesses and injuries
• Perform wound care and assist with physical examinations
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation
• Ensure the Health & Wellness Center is organized, stocked, and ready to provide exceptional care
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team to support student success and overall well-being
• Educate and encourage healthy lifestyles while serving as a positive role model
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming environment where every student feels valued
• Participate in professional development and contribute to ongoing health and wellness initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
• At least one year of nursing experience
• Current, valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of nursing experience

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Weekends off
• Salaried, exempt position

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $75,000 to $78,000 per year
