School Registered Nurse Ambulatory (RN) - South Region – PRN

Community Health Network seeks a School Registered Nurse to provide health services in the Franklin Township School District and surrounding South Region schools. In this per diem role, you will support the physical, mental, emotional, and social growth of students by managing chronic health conditions, identifying health needs, providing medication management, offering emotional support, and referring students to higher levels of care as needed. You will promote healthy habits, provide health education, and work collaboratively to support the educational process and student learning.

Clinical Setting

This position is based in the Franklin Township School District (Indianapolis, IN 46259) and serves students across multiple school districts in the South Region, including Franklin Township, Clark Pleasant, Perry Township, Center Grove, Greenwood, and Decatur Township. You will float to all assigned districts as needed.

Schedule

• Per diem (PRN) position
• Day shift during the school year, bell to bell
• Minimum of three shifts per month required between August and May to maintain competency
• Must be available to float to all school districts within the assigned South Region

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Minimum two years of nursing experience
• Minimum two years of experience working with pediatric patients

• Excellent team skills
• Ability to be self-directed and accountable
