School Registered Nurse Ambulatory (RN) - North Region – PRN

Community Health Network seeks a School Registered Nurse Ambulatory (RN) to provide health services in the Noblesville School District and surrounding North Region schools. In this PRN role, you will facilitate optimal physical, mental, emotional, and social growth and development for students by managing their health needs throughout the school day.

You will care for students with chronic health issues, provide medication management, deliver health education, offer emotional support, and refer students to higher levels of care as needed. Your work supports the education process by promoting student health and healthy habits to strengthen learning outcomes.

Clinical Setting

This position is based at Noblesville School District, 18025 River Road, Noblesville, IN 46062. PRN staff must float to all school districts within the assigned North Region, which includes Hamilton Southeastern (HSE) School District, Noblesville Schools, and Lawrence Township School District.

Schedule

• Employment Type: Per Diem (PRN)
• Shift: Day Job
• Hours: Bell to Bell during the school year (August-May)
• Minimum Requirement: PRN staff must be available to work a minimum of three shifts per month between August-May to maintain competency as a school nurse

Required Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Minimum two years of nursing experience
• Minimum two years of experience working with pediatric patients
• Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, OR three years of related professional nursing experience
