School Registered Nurse Ambulatory (RN) - Lawrence Township School District

Community Health Network seeks a School Registered Nurse to provide health services at Skiles Test Elementary School in the Lawrence Township School District on Indianapolis's north side. In this full-time position, you will facilitate optimal physical, mental, emotional, and social growth and development for students throughout the school day.

Responsibilities

• Provide health services to support student wellness and learning
• Care for students with chronic health issues and identify emerging health needs
• Manage medications and provide health education
• Offer emotional support and referrals to higher levels of care based on student needs
• Promote healthy habits and overall wellness to support maximum learning

Schedule

• Full-time, day shift
• Bell to bell during the school year

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• Minimum two years of nursing experience
• Minimum two years of experience working with pediatric patients
• Excellent communication and team skills
