School Nurse (RN) | Flexible Scheduling | Western

Maxim Healthcare Services is building a pipeline of qualified Registered Nurses for school-based nursing opportunities throughout Western Massachusetts. You will provide skilled nursing support to students in educational settings, working with local school districts to deliver comprehensive health services.

Clinical Setting

You will work in school-based settings throughout Western Massachusetts, providing one-on-one student care and health office support. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to students in educational settings
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school protocols
• Monitor students with chronic and acute health conditions
• Respond to health concerns and emergency situations during the school day
• Maintain accurate health records and nursing documentation
• Collaborate with school personnel, families, and healthcare providers to support student success
• Assist with student healthcare plans and individualized health needs

Schedule and Employment

Flexible scheduling based on district and student needs. Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities are available. Weekly pay.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in Massachusetts
• Current Health Certificate
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric, school nursing, or related clinical experience

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $48–$53 per hour, depending on experience. Up to $300 onboarding bonus.
