School Nurse Needed. Days, No Nights, No Holidays

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one nursing care for students with complex medical needs in a school setting. This position offers a predictable daytime schedule with no nights or holidays.

Clinical Setting

You will work in a school environment, providing direct patient care to students with medical complexities. You may accompany the patient on school transportation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for students with medical needs including tracheostomy care, ventilator management, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, and diabetic management
• May ride the bus to and from school with the patient

Schedule

• Days only
• No nights
• No holidays

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state in which you practice
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Current BLS card

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of prior Registered Nurse experience
