School Nurse

This School Nurse position is based in a childcare center and focuses on overseeing the daily health and wellness of children in care. You will monitor children's allergies, medications, and immunization records while providing resources and support to families and staff, including new parents. This role supports the school management team in day-to-day operations and requires maintaining excellent records and a clean, safe school environment.

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license
• One year of nursing experience
• Technical or other training in nursing or better
• Pass the Applicant Background Study required by the Department of Human Services
• Documentation of U.S. Citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Daytime availability from 7am to 6pm, Monday through Friday

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7am to 6pm

Compensation

• Starting salary: $26.00-$27.00 per hour, based on experience and category of license
• Note: This position does not follow the same compensation structure as nursing positions in clinical or hospital settings
