School Nurse

Clint ISD is seeking a School Nurse to provide health services to students during the 2026-2027 school year. The position is based in various locations within the district and involves conducting health appraisals, implementing health policies and procedures, and coordinating student health services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health appraisals to identify student health defects
• Perform vision and hearing screenings
• Implement health policies and procedures
• Provide health services and support to students

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program
• Valid registered nurse license to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners
• CPR Certification
• Current driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of nursing experience, preferably in community health

Licenses and Certifications

• Texas Department of Health certification to conduct vision and hearing screening (must be obtained upon hire)

Schedule

• 187 contract days
• Position available for 2026-2027 school year

Compensation

• Salary: $60,000-$61,600
• $2,000 stipend
