School Based Nurse

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a School Based Nurse to provide comprehensive health services to students in school settings. In this role, you will perform nursing assessments, manage student health concerns, administer medications, and coordinate care with families, physicians, and school leadership.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and clinical judgment for student health concerns
• Administer medications, treatments, and manage chronic conditions according to care plans
• Develop, update, and oversee individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency action plans
• Communicate with families, physicians, and district nursing leadership regarding student health needs
• Maintain accurate health records, documentation, and compliance with state and district guidelines
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care with EMS when needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN nursing license
• CPR Certification
