SBBH - PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER - APRN - WEEKENDS

St. Bernards Behavioral Health seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to provide comprehensive mental health care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with patients across the continuum of behavioral health services, from counseling center visits to inpatient psychiatric care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status and formulate appropriate differential diagnoses
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Manage medications and provide direct care to inpatients during their stay
• Perform independent clinical decision-making as needed based on facility requirements

Clinical Setting

You will work across St. Bernards Behavioral Health Outpatient Counseling Center and St. Bernards Behavioral Health Inpatient services, providing psychiatric care to diverse patient populations.

Schedule

• Full-time position
• 7am - 7pm shifts
• Weekend coverage required
• On-call duties

Required Qualifications

• Active Arkansas State Board of Nursing license as an Advanced Practice Nurse
• National certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive privileges
• Three years of experience in a psychiatric setting (desired)

Physical Requirements

This is a safety-sensitive position. You must be able to perform the following:

• Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
• Use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, and controls
• Reach with hands and arms
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Perform close eye work and hear normal and soft tones
• Potential exposure to airborne and infectious materials
