Job Description

This position offers an opportunity to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in rural urgent care at an FQHC in Williams, Arizona, serving a close-knit community while maintaining professional autonomy and work-life balance. Williams is located in northern Arizona near the Grand Canyon, offering cooler mountain temperatures, pine forests, and easy access to outdoor recreation along historic Route 66.

Clinical Setting

You will work in an urgent care environment at Elk Ridge Community Health, a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The facility emphasizes patient-centered medical home services and various outreach programs. The community has strong patient demand, allowing you to build lasting relationships while practicing at the top of your license.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • Current National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Arizona state license or eligibility to obtain one
  • DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one
  • Level One Fingerprint Clearance card (required by Arizona law; new hires must submit fingerprint clearance card or receipt before hire date, with the card received within 30 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working at an FQHC, Community Health Center (CHC), or Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) facility
