RN/LVN Pediatric Home Health Nurse-NIGHTS

Children's Home Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to provide care to medically-complex pediatric patients in home healthcare settings. We have three night shift positions available with a range of cases from low to high acuity. This role offers a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with flexible scheduling.

New graduates and nurses with little to no experience are encouraged to inquire about our extern program, which includes comprehensive training and paid orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient treatment and rehabilitation by performing nursing procedures appropriate to your training and skill level
• Participate in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in collaboration with the clinical supervisor
• Provide health counseling, including emotional support and parental education
• Coordinate care with other agencies and physician offices involved in patient care

Schedule

• Night shifts
• Flexible scheduling with willingness to fill in when needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid and current RN or LVN license
• Valid and current CPR card for healthcare workers
• Current driver's license and current auto insurance
• Ability to operate an automobile for home visits
• Complete mobility to lift and transfer patients from one location to another
• Self-motivation with ability to work with minimal supervision
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule

Compensation

• LVN rate range: $20-$25 per hour
• RN rate range: $30-$35 per hour
