RN/LPN Private Duty Nurse | 1.1 School Case | Knoxville, TN

Maxim Healthcare is seeking RNs and LPNs for immediate 1:1 school-based and private duty nursing opportunities in the Knoxville, Tennessee area. This featured school case offers 1:1 care for a pediatric patient in East Knoxville with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and families. Additional full-time, part-time, and PRN positions are available throughout Knoxville and surrounding communities.

Clinical Setting

• 1:1 school-based care in East Knoxville
• Private duty home care throughout Knoxville and surrounding areas
• Pediatric patient population

Schedule

Featured school case: Monday, Tuesday, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Additional day, night, weekend, and flexible scheduling options available.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled 1:1 nursing care to pediatric patients in school and home settings
• Follow the patient's plan of care and physician orders
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the clinical team
• Assist with trach care, ventilator care, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring, diabetic care, and other skilled nursing needs as applicable
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Partner with patients and families to deliver high-quality care

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Tennessee
• Current Health Certificate (per facility)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Current BLS card

Preferred Qualifications

• One year prior LPN experience

Compensation

• Pay: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
• Sign-on bonus: $1,200 to $1,750
