The opportunity

Job Description

Riddle Hospital is seeking an Operating Room Specialty Team Coordinator RN to lead and manage specialty services within the Operating Room. This is a leadership opportunity focused on planning, organizing, and directing OR operations while supporting a team of nursing professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor room turnover and case setup
  • Make room assignments for your team
  • Provide employees with annual performance appraisals
  • Provide ongoing education and evaluation to staff
  • Serve as the technical resource person for the specialty
  • Train new hires
  • Manage specialty resources and equipment

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM
  • No weekend or on-call duties

Required Qualifications

  • At least three years of nursing experience in the Operating Room
  • RN Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
  • PA RN license OR multi-state license verified in an approved state through the Nursing Licensure Compact
  • Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • CNOR certification within 12 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
