RN - School Nurse - $1,400 Weekly Gross

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one nursing care for students with complex medical needs in the school setting in or near Smithfield, NC.

Clinical Setting

You will work in a school environment, providing direct patient care to students with chronic medical conditions and disabilities. You may be required to ride the bus to and from school with your patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for students with medical needs including tracheostomy care, ventilator management, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, and diabetic care
• May accompany patient on school transportation

Compensation

• Hourly Pay: $33.00 - $35.00
• Weekly paychecks

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state in which you practice
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Current BLS card

Preferred Qualifications

• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience
