RN Residency and Nurse Extern II - Summer 2027 grads

Hospital Sisters Health System is seeking Summer 2027 graduate nurses to join our healthcare team. This position offers an excellent pathway for nursing students to begin their careers, with the opportunity to start as a Nurse Extern II during your final semester of nursing school and transition directly into an RN position upon obtaining your license.

Clinical Setting

You will work in Medical-Surgical or Emergency Department (ED) units at Holy Family Hospital in Greenville, Illinois.

Schedule

• Night shift: 7pm to 7am
• 36 hours per week

Compensation and Sign-On Bonus

• Pay range: $30.50 to $46.80 per hour
• Actual pay rate based on relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education
• Sign-on bonus up to $10,000

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must not require sponsorship for an employment visa, either now or in the future
• Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Experience in healthcare
