RN Residency and Nurse Extern II - Summer 2027 grads

Hospital Sisters Health System is hiring Spring and Summer 2027 graduate nurses for an RN Residency program. You can begin as a Nurse Extern II during your final semester of nursing school and transition directly into an RN position once you obtain your license.

Clinical Setting

• Department: Medical-Surgical and OB
• Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital
• Location: Breese, IL

Schedule

• Night shift: 7pm to 7am
• 36 hours per week

Compensation and Sign-On

• Pay range: $30.50 to $46.80 per hour
• Actual pay rate based on relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education
• Sign-on bonus up to $10,000

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must not require sponsorship for an employment visa, either now or in the future
• Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Experience in healthcare
