RN( Registered Nurse)Coor Quality Assurance HH( Home Health)- Fulltime Days

Wellstar is seeking a full-time RN Quality Assurance Coordinator for its Home Health program. This is a non-clinical role focused on documentation review, coding accuracy, and regulatory compliance. You will work day shift, 40 hours per week, and serve as a key resource for clinical staff and management.

In this role, you will review and audit clinical documentation including 485 forms, OASIS assessments, daily notes, and final claims to ensure accuracy and completeness. You will assign appropriate diagnoses and codes, generate HRRG scores for RAPS, and ensure all documentation meets Medicare guidelines and regulatory requirements. You will also educate clinical staff on proper OASIS documentation, Medicare guidelines, and coding standards, and participate in orientation of new clinical employees.

You will maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory guidelines related to billing, documentation, and coding. You will transmit OASIS data to the state, work with the Accreditation Coordinator on special projects, and assist with auditing and action plan development as needed. You will attend team meetings to present documentation findings and serve as a resource to clinical staff and managers.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
• Minimum 3 years of home health experience
• Associate degree in nursing, nursing diploma, or Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Professional, independent, and self-directed approach
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent computer proficiency

Required Certifications

• OASIS certification
• ICD-10 certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous home health QA experience
• Bachelor's degree in nursing
