RN( Registered Nurse)Coor Quality Assurance HH( Home Health)- Fulltime Days

Wellstar is seeking a full-time RN Quality Assurance Coordinator for its Home Health program. This is a non-clinical role focused on documentation review, coding accuracy, and staff education. You will work day shift, 40 hours per week, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while supporting the clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assign appropriate diagnoses and codes for home health claims
• Review and verify 485 forms are correct and completed timely
• Review OASIS assessments for completion, congruency, and accuracy
• Generate HRRG scores for RAPS submissions
• Audit and review final claims before release to billing
• Collaborate with the Accreditation Coordinator on special projects and develop action plans as needed
• Review clinical documentation with field clinicians, including 485s, daily notes, and OASIS timepoints
• Educate clinicians on proper OASIS documentation completion
• Participate in orientation of new clinical staff on OASIS documentation and Medicare guidelines
• Present documentation findings at team meetings
• Assist on committees focused on clinical education such as wound care
• Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and regulatory guidelines related to billing, documentation, and coding
• Stay current on Medicare regulations and Conditions of Participation
• Transmit OASIS data to the state as required
• Maintain current OASIS and coding certifications
• Maintain positive working relationships with all Homecare departments and clinical staff
• Serve as a resource to clinical staff and managers
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all Wellstar Health System policies and standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
• Minimum 3 years of home health experience
• Associate degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• Professional, independent, and self-directed approach
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent computer proficiency

Certifications and Licenses

• OASIS Certification (required)
• ICD-10 Certification (required)
• RN license (single state or multi-state compact)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous home health quality assurance experience
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
