RN Registered Nurse, Staff Development and Infection Prevention

Annandale Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as RN Nursing Manager with Infection Prevention and Staff Development responsibilities. This role is ideal for a leader with a background in long-term care who is committed to building a skilled, professional, and dedicated nursing team.

Clinical Setting

Annandale Healthcare Center is a long-term care center located in Annandale, Virginia. CommuniCare is one of the nation's largest providers of post-acute care, operating skilled nursing rehabilitation centers, long-term care centers, assisted living communities, independent rehabilitation centers, and long-term acute care hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as RN Nursing Manager with oversight of infection prevention and staff development initiatives
• Coordinate quality improvement efforts
• Develop and implement staff training programs
• Maintain Train the Trainer certification for STNA training
• Lead nursing team development and professional growth

Required Qualifications

• Current active RN license in Virginia
• Train the Trainer certificate for STNA training
• Prior supervisory experience, preferably in a long-term care center

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in staff development in long-term care
